Milnrow SA/ Blue mink 14.05.2022
10 anglers from the Milnrow sea anglers club set sail from fleetwood on board Blue Mink skippered by Andy.
couldn't of asked for better weather
Targets for the day was anything that swims. Andy informed us that we could expect smoothhound and tope along with rays and bullhuss for those targeting the big ones, with plaice , dabs, whiting and a chance of gurnards being caught on scratching rigs , which is exactly what happened.
Biggest fish of the day went to Ken with a tope around 18-20lb which fought above its weight and plenty of smoothies coming aboard to various baits with the better ones falling to crab baits which our member Allan managed to source from Bispham tackle shop
Personally it was just great to get out and have good days fishing and loads of banter with a bunch of guys who could take it and give it out. Nice to see our new member Steve out fishing as well
Cheers Andy for putting us on the fish as usual
