Down to the mighty Mersey today 
ed just after low up to just after high.
Promising start with a flounder on the first cast
Wasn't expecting the thornys to come in so early in the tide, but this early girl came 3 and a half hours before high, coming in at 5lb 14oz & a P.B.
Another smaller flounder was up next
I think this fellow was having a feast on the flatties
As the tide went slack Mr Raymond took the bait at 4lb 7oz
Kathy blanked with only a single bite, so not a busy day but the target was achieved which is also my P.B.
of any species & a nice day it was too.gif "yeah")
