My first post
Hi all, just became a member this evening.
Had a grand day out yesterday. Started at Morecambe and walked straight across the beach from the big polo mint packet next to Morrisons. Sun was out but the wind was quite cold. Just caught the first of the flood. It came in quite quickly and I only managed about an hour and a half before it reached the top of the bank. Caught a nice plaice of 44cm with the last cast. Bait was frozen black tipped off with a piece of sandeel.
Back to the car for a brew and a bite then on to Arnside . Change of tackle for this venue used two river feeder rods for better bite registration. As I arrived at my chosen spot the tide started to flood had eight flounder of various sizes up to 35cm all on frozen black.
A good day all in all. Just need to learn how to get my photos on with the reports.
