Postby GrandadT » 26 Apr 2015, 16:32

:cheer: Just bought my first boat, 15' with a 40hp engine. What can you recommend to get me out on the water, insurance? fish finders? safety equipment? launch points? clubs for info? pick it up next weekend.

T's out on the water can't wait :yeah2: :D

I would say the first thing to do is join a club and make friends with as many folk as you can. Where are you planning to launch the easiest spot in my opinion is at Knott End. There is a great club there KESBAC. There is also a coast guard station manned by friendly knowledgable people, they used to run a sea check scheme.
Everything is OK
