How do everyone I'm Phil from near chorley lancashire mad on fishing especially sea fishing I've always been a typical 12-14 ft chucking stick kinda guy up until last week I grabbed the Abu Garcia venerate from the pile of rods under the stairs matched with a leeda 3000fd with 10lb braid had a few chucks and have fallen in love with spinning/lure fishing again, this years mission is waders 8ft light spinning gear and flattie bashing in the shallows of the fyled coast , I'll keep an update log hopefully it'll be successful the ultimate goal would be a hot summer day flat calm sea and taking a smooth hound on artificial crab with a smidge of pro cure on it but I'll start with flattie and take it from there
Look forward to getting to know you guys :D

Welcome aboard mate :thumb: I'd say Grannies Bay /Fairhaven /Lytham would be a good bet on either big tides at HW or smaller tides LW in the river channel. It's thick with flounders. I was wondering about fishing a baited spoon for them in another thread. I've caught them on the fly so bait isn't always needed. Good luck :thumb:
