Pb and a cracked rib
Hi guys ans girls ,it's been a while
2weeks ago myself and bro in law headed up to loch sunart .We left at 3pm and got there as it was getting dark about 5 flat calm ,tide at the bottom, superb, set up tripod then rods and fired them out.thought we would sort camp Fire and arrange camp as this mark is only about 7ft by 7ft so you need to be carefull and tidy, anyway 20mins in and first run was mine,a bit of a struggle with
With the weed on the bottom but success 17and a half lb spur lb (magic gonna be a good night)ARGH!!!!.
For the rest of the night every chuck got action but lost about 10rigs each and that was using pulleys, rotten bottom, and flapper, but as we travelled a long way we didn't care,So it came about 5am and another good run and snagged, and by this point was I was determined to get this fish in so put a bit much commitment into leaning back and pull I didn't think about snapping the line .Snapped ,I went about 2steps back and down onto a boulder and cracked a rib OOH sore, and the brother in-laws first line was if you think I came all this way to go home at 5am think again so we fished till about ten and headed home.I have to say we landed about 8 dogfight and 2 theories about 6 / 7 lb so all in all a good night for the start of November .unfortunately the climb down to release fish didn't parent one hand to get photos so quick weigh and release.rods away till rib heals
Tight lines to all
