Pensarn Sun 14th August

Postby Jimmyjizzmo » 17 Aug 2011, 10:19

Arrived just ann hour before high water due to getting
up late and having a full english on the way
Got fresh lug from "RAYS PLAICE" little kiosk on the front
absolutely spot on!!!!
Had one small plaice on 2nd cast and nothing else,
really enjoyed myself and only packed up because
the lure of the ciggies i forgot to bring was too much!!!!
Totally chilled out fishing on the pebbles and realised why i
used to love coming here as a kid on holiday, lots of nostalgia
so i parked up at Millers Cottage in Towyn on the way back
and had a pint of guinness........£2.40
Cheap bait and cheap guinness!!!!!!went over the bridge
to the sea wall and can remember my dad fishing off there
(before they built up the sea defences)with a 7ft green
fibreglass spinning rod!!!!!
