Quick after work session at Anchorsholme

Postby AndyNuttall1981 » 19 Jul 2013, 22:26

Finished work and decided to head out on the ironing board again.
Launched from the slip next to the bullnose again and head straight out to the drop off I found the other night.
Set the feathers up on one rod and crab on the other for the hounds.
Sadly no mackerel tonight but, the tide was in full flood when I got out there and it was quite lumpy.
Did manage 2 hounds before the wind really picked up and I decided the safe option was to head back in.
The better of the 2 hounds was definitely into double figures, I'd guess around 12lb. Was a feisty little fucker that took around 20 mins to get in. Every time I got it to the side of the yak and reached over to grab it, it went mental and buggered off again!
No photos again but, did manage a couple of video clips that I've compressed into one.
