Paul I have mentioned in previous posts the amount of gill netting that is being done around Heysham with boats travelling from Fleetwood and Barrow to catch what is left of the Bass stocks in the area.

This year the Bass fishing been been very poor probably due to the increase in Gill netting, I really do think that we should be very care full that what we post does not assist them to totally clear out the last remaining fish.

Such detailed mapping will assist them to cast their nets around this wreck, some will lose nets on the wreck which will then continue to catch fish for many years until they eventually rot away.

Paul I agree very impressive, however after the hammering the Morecambe and Heysham area has this year from gill netting boats. I feel that it might not be such a good idea to post such detailed information which may aid them in to catch the last of the few remaining fish.

Wayne I hadn't seen your post, it was robo that replied in between.

Nowhere on any of my posts does it show where that wreck is, I purposely removed any GPS data.

The other map of the dolphins and part of the hump is hardly a big secret, there are two bouys marking them, and shown on charts.

Not really sure what info anyone could glean from it unless they already knew where it was...

Anyone who thinks that the pros do not already carry better gear than us RSAs is living in a world outside of reality. Paul has done absolutely nothing wrong, in fact he has shown me something that I knew already existed on a commercial level that is now affordable to the small boat owner or joe public. Get off his back ffs :banghead: I have family that fish and pot out of Peterhead/Lerwick/Stromness/Kirkwall, all of whom work in effect for the bank, if you saw what the BIG commercials carry then you would cry yourselves to sleep every night. Mans' doom is his greed.
