Rescue yesterday

Postby carpman » 03 Oct 2016, 19:57

I always thought it was dangerous to go out alone and yesterdays events proved so.
Steve morgan from wyre boat club was out fishing and a overturned kayak came drifting past with the gentleman in question clung to it unable to do anything.Apparently he had drifted a fair way unseen and claimed himself that steve had saved his life.He was duly dropped back on shore safely with his kayak

I just watched that on FB ..

WELL DONE to the Lad's who dragged him out he is one lucky Kyaker could've ended very differently....

Just proves it isn't worth the risk going out alone not only that if the tide is running strong it doesn't matter how fit you are you won't beat it ....

Credit to the guy's in the boat for realising he was in severe difficulty. :thumb:
