Starr Gate launch yesterday
Thanks to a kind offer from Clive I got out aboard his Predator the 'Free Spirit'. Initial drops about 3 miles out from Norbreck brought only doggies and whiting. A move in towards the old boat club at Cleveleys put us straight on to the codling. And what a session it turned out to be! We filled a large builders trug with quality fish from 2 to 4.5lb and put plenty of others back. Superb sport and plenty of laughs
