arrived about 8.15 ,met up with Graham Keith Edie and Pete who joined us latter on, two other lads were already launching which was Daveh and another Pete. weather wise was cold with frost sea state good. were loads of boats out 20 i counted. right we anchored up about 31/4 miles out, from the off was whiting a chuck withe most over the 1/2 1b mark
only caught one cod about 3 1b
we decided to head in about 1 as we would have tide against wind which proved to be the right decision, plus it was ruddy cold.every body caught fish on the day whiting cod dab, and a small plaice which graham caught .A good day out with good company.Met Chrisandlisa on the beach for a natter ,think Chris cold be a kayak convert soon don't know about Lisa thou nice meeting u guys.

Great stuff Steve, I should be back on the water soon myself hopefully
It seems the cod have thinned out a bit, I hope this cold spell hasn't pushed them further out into deeper water (or the prey they're chasing more likely)
Great pics and cheers for the report

Make a difference - take home one piece of someone's angling litter next time you are out fishing
