finally got the chance to get out today, got to the slip at knottend to be greeted by a long queue of boats lining the slip. The K E B A C where having a match day we waited are turn to get in and set off for rossal, after finding what looked like a nice piece of rough ground we dropped anchor and started :fishing: it didn't take long less than 5 mins to be exact before the first bite and in came a very takable cod. followed by 2 more in quick succession with in 10 mins that was the way it went upto high tide with all rods taking fish every drop, lots of whiting the odd doggie and some nice cod. After high water things where quiet with mostly whiting and only a few cod so with time running out and not wanting to be in a long queue at the slip we headed back home with 12 cod in the box and several good size whiting . All in all a very good day out and good to see so many :speed: out enjoying the day .
