The Llyn. 05/05/2019
.
With this weekend's weather conditions all over the place locally
myself and Dyl traveled further afield to find better weather and better fishing
so we had a very early start and a long drive down the Llyn peninsula.
We got too are chosen rock mark for the day and would fish big with whole mac baits
to see what was on offer down there the sun came out and we had a glorious day in the sun ahead.
Fishing was slow but bites were registering fast on the rod tips
most bites were dogs, crabs and lobster who were having a good feed on are baits
but we still managed too pull a few out.
Then i had a much better take at last witch produced a ling for 2.5.0.
that was followed by a pollock for 1.7.0.
We did some spinning but nothing was taking the feather apart from
one lonely mackerel too me and that was put right back out as live bait.
We were starting too get better knocks now but the fish seemed too shy away or would drop the baits
the bites just did not amount too the fish taking the baits maybe a tad too bright and sunny played apart in that
but i finley nailed a conger for. 5.10.0.
Dyl then had a better fish on and a pollock for 1.11.0.
Low water came and the mark just became too snaggy too continue to fish
so we headed off home with a few good fish in the bag
and very sunburnt faces.
