yes PJ,I've just coffed up my £175 joining fee for Ringwood AC ...that bloody well hurt...but now I've got the gate key I've been sniffing around some of the Avon and Stour beats.

I've already seen some potential Barbel swims on the "Severals" section just behind Ringwood tackle
I've been told not too many fish but what there is are large so I'm gonna bait up a couple of pegs
just before the magical 16th and hope nobody else jumps in them on the day.

can't wait till the off as I've just treated myself to a tailor made rod from Mark Tunley its a 1 1/2 lb TC
Chub/Barbel rod with a lovely tip but plenty of grunt further down the blank,will be pairing it
with a centre pin for down the edge fishing amoungst the weed......proper feckin kid with a new toy...
,,,,can't wait.....

Oh and yes mate,this county has everything an angler could wish for....
