No 2
Photograph your fish with your card and post the picture in the saltwater species hunt section .
Make sure the picture and card are clear and in good focus.
also include the date and name of the species.
Were the fish came from and the number you are up too in the post
Try and keep all your fish in one thread under the title of your name ( name and 2020 hunt )
in the saltwater section only.

Here is a example of what we want to see
2018-08-29-1889.jpg

EXAMPLE OF INFO NEEDED
[ No 1 , 29/08/18 ,Whitehaven pier Coalie ]
[ No 2 .. / .. / .. , ------------------
[ No 3. .. / .. / .. , ------------------
[ And so on.

No 3
The geographical area for the hunt is from the north west region coast line
from the river dee / Mostyn Quay / dock to the South and north river Esk / port Carlisle.
No fish caught outside the boundary areas can be entered.

No 4
If you catch something out of the ordinary.
please try to take a photo with your surroundings to maintain integrity.
and show the fish clearly if identification is needed with under sized juvenile fish.
example (1) 3 bearded rockling / 5 bearded rockling , then we need to see it clearly.
Starry hounds and common hounds must show there markings .

No 5
To save CONFUSION
all Gobies will Be CLASSED has one Species .

No 6
The competition will run until midnight 31 December 2020
The winner will be announced on the 1st jan 2021.

No 7
Shore caught sea fish only . this means No boats to be used and no fresh water fish .
No fish can be added from any area needing a special pass or permit to fish that location .
unless the public have free access to fish it also as this is unfair to others.
An example of this would be Blackpool pier and Liverpool dock area, as you can only fish them with a yearly pass . The Albert dock and the surrounding docks are also out of bounds , due to health and safety , and any areas are not open to the public to fish for free.
So they will be and are out of bounds .
Another example is the gynn wall in blackpool .
Yes you need a pass for a car , but you can still fish it without a pass so that's ok.

No 8
Pictures of the fish and card that have been deleted or removed or disappeared from your list of fish.
if I have already verified them , they will still count if I have not they won't so ask first.
But if there is or was any doubt about the identification of the fish and then the picture disappears , then it will not count.
but please leave them up to view until 2020 ends.
as this just helps the problems to occur.

No 9
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to PM me and I will endeavour to assist you.

No 10
At the end of every month I will post the positions up and total fish count scores
of the competitors in this thread for further reference .
and to see who is at the top and what they have so far.

HAPPY HUNTING :thumb: :fishing:
