What a load of Pollock's in Scotland 24 08 2016
I went up to Scotland for a few days
Its a long video
It was Pollock's
22nd
It was late when I got up there just looked at a few marks and a few casts Blank
23rd
Rain most of the day managed a few casts at the camp site
I had a few Pollock off the rocks
24th
The sea was mill pond flat time for the Kayak to go out
first mark about 50 yards out of the harbour
in to lots of good Pollock
Mark two
Tried bait fishing not for long back with the daylites Back in to more Pollock 2 at a time I should have Float fished
25 last day
Back to my first mark
I managed to see a sea otter about 10 yards from the yak
as the day before Pollock from the off
Great to be out I managed lots of Pollock only 1 Mackerel and 1 Coalfish
There where some nice people willing to give some good advice
thanks to you

Fantastic video really enjoyed watching it. I recognise Portpatrick harbour of course but not the first bay where you fished
Everything is OK

Thanks for showing sharing a great video of portpatrick I've been going there for 37yrs as you can see the fishing is great, and you don't have to motor for miles for some good fish, and now Dominic the skipper of predator, has found a reef not far out with common skate on it near to 200ibs,and also in the harbour wall beneath the portpatrick hotel is a conger eel estimated between 70and 80ibs as it came out of the water to get a mackerel off my son in laws line and if you take your boat its nothing to launch ,but if you leave it in while you're on holiday there is a harbour fee also a big thank you for having me on the forum,Mr portpatrick.
