Windy day on the Holderness

Postby BigBadCol » 15 Dec 2013, 19:52

Well bait was ordered so we had to go no matter what. Hit the water about 1100hrs, a nice hole with an entrance greeted us so we stopped there. Dave landed a slug n ting on 1st cast so we thought we were in for a good day. 3hrs later n I'm still blanking we had different thoughts. Even as darkness approached things didn't improve. For some reason we both had a bad hour of tangles n lost gear. We sacked it about 1800hrs and headed home. I thought it was windy on the beach, however as soon as I popped my head over the top of the mud I thought it wasn't so bad on the beach after all.

We managed 16 fish between us which isn't so bad but they were of no size. Dave to 3 home 1 was a nice fish the others were just big enough but didn't go back so he took em. As always a poor day on the beach is better than a day at work.
I'm back over tomo to use he rest of my bait up so let's hope I have a better day.
