Winspit Quarry, Nr Swanage (two more species on my list)
Fished the HT at Winspit Quarry, near Swange using rag worm tipped with a strip of mackerel. The rag worm was bought from Purbeck Angling in Wareham and was excellent, nice and big and wriggling. My mate was fist in with a nice Ballan Wrasse, soon i was in with a nice Pollock.
To be followed by a Ballan Wrasse
A few pictures of the spot.

Looks a nice place to fish well done on the species
I'm sure if it is safe to night fish, you add a few more to the list

Not sure if I would want to fish during the night there, but am looking at other marks in the area where it might be possible. It was a lovely place to fish, clear blue water and not the muddy brown of the Bristol Channel, but it is 3 hours away from Cheltenham on winding A roads it is not somewhere I can pop out for a couple of hours. Planning to go back in mid September.
